Europa Fly-In:  Mojave Air and Spaceport (KMHV), April 21, 2018

A Europa Club North America Fly In and Europa 25th Anniversary Celebration will be held at Mojave Air and Spaceport in southern California, April 21.  Please save the date!

The Mojave Experiential Fly-In and Plane Crazy Saturday is a fly-in and static display.  It’s a chance to see unusual and one of a kind aircraft.  It takes place from 10 am to 2 pm.  The Voyager restaurant is on the field.  There is dinner with a talk by Bill Norton, an instructor at the National Test Pilot School (reservation required 661-824-2481).  Aircraft depart Sunday.  Here are links: http://mojavemuseum.org/events/

The Europa presence is being organized by Rick Stockton.

Rick and Todd Johnson will be renting a car or van to go to Red Rock Canyon Park on Sunday morning.  If you ever have watched a “B” western movie with beautiful rock formations in the background, this is the place where it was filmed.  If you would like to join Rick and Todd, email Rick.  Here is a link to the park:  https://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=631

If you like competition, there is an indoor Fly-In Friday evening.  Your registration fee gets you a airplane that you assemble and then fly in competition.  Sounds like fun!

If you need a hotel room, email Rick for arrangements.

Whether you’re flying or driving, it’s a great opportunity to gather with other Europa owners / builders / enthusiasts.  Hope you can join Rick and Todd!
