Trigear jacking

There are many ways to jack the Trigear:

  1. You can get a car jack just behind the wheel on the end of the leg but it is not very safe.
  2. I have a block (carved to the fuselage shape and padded) which goes just inboard of the top of the undercarriage leg. A car jack under this works. Better than 1) above but not very stable.
  3. Remove the split pin for the wheel nut and insert a length of strong rod or tube. Works well and is safe but does not allow you to get the wheel off.

Mono Jacking

The mono has to be jacked annually to check the suspension and is more restrictived in how it is jacked.
