Unlike Part-21 aircraft, LAA aircraft Owners can create their own Maintenance Schedules - indeed your Inspector (and any CAA/LAA ACAM auditors), will expect to see you are using one before they sign off/approve any physical audits.

The intention of this section is for Owners to download templates and (at their own risk), share schedules used for similar aircraft. Please do remember that such schedules are specific to a registration and must be tailored to your - so beware blindly using the schedule for another registration, without tailoring it first.
What ever you use, it should ideally contain the following:
1. A document title/reference that is unique.
2. A section that identifies serial numbers of the key components and validities of related documents
3. A section that lists all the maintenance actions per area of the aircraft (e.g. for the airframe, the engine, the propeller - including lifed components if you have any). It's also useful to list acceptable limits here too - e.g. minimum brake disc and pad thicknesses. Europa's Pilot Operating Handbook/manual, lists the general areas to check, but this needs detail adding per your aircraft build, of course.
4. A section that lists all the MPD's SB's, SI's and LAA alerts etc that apply to your aircraft. These items should be mirrored in your logbooks.
5. Finally, a section that lists the MODs status of your aircraft (e.g. those that went onto your Declaration of Design at first Permit plus any MODs added subsequently. Some of these MODs may carry their own regular maintenance check requirements like annual checking that fuel taps have full movement etc.
Apologies that this list is a bit UK-centric, however it is likely that the requirements in other countries will follow a similar theme.
